Your Perfect Pokémon Tales: Z-A Mega Evolution According to Your Astrological Sign

The comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread excitement within the community. From the one-by-one unveiling of fresh additions before the game's release, to trainers forming firm opinions on the full roster of new Megas, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.

Given many of the Super Forms boasting unique designs that emphasize their personalities, one thought naturally: How can connect this with astrology? This list is based on a mix of vibes, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

Aries – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was almost selected for this fire sign, as both are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Super Houndoom appears as constantly angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, known for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why Aries much more akin to Mega Camerupt, which solely erupts when provoked. Remain on the good side of both and enjoy a strong partner; if you cross them, be ready to get burned.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Similar to a devoted Taurus, the reliable Heracross, whether in its regular and Mega form, has aided numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though trustworthy, both the creature and a Bull are still Fighting types, and – whether it's their trainer or a firm belief – will defend their side unwaveringly. The thing about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, however, is its unashamed love of snacks. Many previous official descriptions note their craving for sweet sap and how it employs its appendage to collect it all, which is true Taurus energy.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Observe this total royalty. You cannot tell me this creature is not the life of any gathering, providing an endless stream of chatter to anyone who wants to hear. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly simple to imagine Mega Medicham mesmerizing an entire Wild Zone with their stories. This Pokémon's Pokédex entry also mentions its capacity to predict an enemy’s next moves, which sounds quite similar to a people-smart Gemini.

Cancer – Super Manectric

Cancer is widely regarded as the most sensitive member of the astrological wheel, a intense sign known for frequently getting wrapped up in their feelings. According to the official info, Mega Evolution charges the creature with a “tremendous quantity of energy, but it's too much for this Pokémon to completely manage,” which seems a lot like a typical Crab crash-out. This Pokémon is also known for its ability to make a thundercloud over its very self – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

Leo – Mega Starmie

Oh, did you think I was going to pick Pyroar for the king of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be much too obvious, The Lion is obviously Mega Starmie, the star whose gams just became an internet sensation for being too fabulous (or horrifying, based on your preference). Players were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s precisely the same energy a Leo brings to the scene. This Pokémon is also said to be transmitting signals from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a performance, even if for aliens.

The Maiden – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly critical is clearly reflected across this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised face like a Maiden when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s just like the emoji a Maiden posts to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Observe this gentle, sensitive being, who uses the sensors on its ears to detect how people are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently compassionate – occasionally to a detriment – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are numerous Scales who would likely appreciate Mega Audino’s abilities. Though, to be frank, it would probably just cause them to worry even more about others.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly tragic backstory: Discarded as a toy, it became sentient through sheer hatred and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpio loves karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect match with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always staging a performance. Being a Archer personally, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful little jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “flexes to display its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can imagine.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to predict calamities in advance? That exudes the exact same energy as a Goat, who often consistently believe they’re right. The thing is, much like a prophetic Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the very initial Mega Evolution that players meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Goat to get in on the beginning of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Mega Chandelure

Detached element Aquarius is arguably the non-fire placement that is most like a flame symbol – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Aquarius being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's dual Ghost/Fire category matches seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting aura is also extremely Aquarius. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Super Form's description says it “absorbs negative energy and converts it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
